audience about the trend of obesity among Malay adult in Malaysia
Central Idea :
The trend of obesity among Malay adult in Malaysia is increasing since 1996 for
both men and women
Introduction
I : Obesity is a condition where a
person has accumulated so much body fat that might have a negative effect on
their health . If the Body Mass Index (BMI) is 23 you are considered overweight
.If your BMI is 23 or over you are considered pre - obese.
II : Excessive
weight is associated with increased risk of death where many chronic disease
will come like a magnet , and it is better to prevent disease than try to find
cure for disease after they occur .
III : Today , I would like to share
with you about the trend of obesity among Malay adults in Malaysia
Body

The trends of
obesity among Malay adults in Malaysia at the range of age between 20 up to 49
years of age and in both men and woman is increase gradually since 1996 .
1.1 Malay man at the age of 20 to 29
years old , gain from 21.2 to 23.0 Body Mass Index (BMI) .
1.1.1 The highest BMI value obtain by men
at the age of 30 to 49 years old is 23.0 up to 23.9.
1.2 The increase
being particularly prominent by women , 35% of woman in Malaysia have 25.0 to
29.9 BMI’s value .
1.2.1 Malay women at the age of 20 up to
29 years old gain 21.3 to 23.5 BMI .
1.2.2 The highest value of BMI obtain by
woman is 25.0 at range 30 to 49 years old.

Conclusion
I As I tell you earlier , the trend of obesity
among Malay adult in Malaysia is raising since 1996 until today
II Ways to overcome
the trend of obesity is by educating Malaysian from early age to apply healthy
diet and eating habit , other than that exercise daily can also help by burning
calories .
III I’m assuming in the future Malaysia will not
just be on the top ranked on obesity among Asian but soon we will be on the
highest rank of the world .
